The impactful occurrences of the previous year emphasized the significance of Trust, showcasing transparency and consistency as elements to have within organizations. Several C-suite executives, steering their companies through the pandemic, acknowledge Trust’s significance; however, similar to other crucial strategies in the C-suite agenda, measuring what you can’t manage remains a challenge.
Taking this into account, the team set out to enhance the visual design, implement UX principles, and establish a User-Centered Design (UCD) framework for consistent platform development. This journey also influenced the Trust practice’s product roadmap, leading to the evolution from TrustIQ 1.0 to 2.0, resulting in the following outcomes:
1) Ensuring uniform branding across the entire platform through a comprehensive corporate style guide.
2) Backing up fresh features and modules aligned with the ever-evolving Trust research.
3) Innovative methods to define, measure, and gain Trust fueled by data visualizations.
During our exploration alongside Trust leadership, the we uncovered a range of obstacles that surpassed mere visual alignment concerns. Initially expected to swiftly handle a visual update and minor fixes, we pushed for a more extensive approach, aligning with the larger goal of transforming the dashboards into an enterprise-level platform.
These were the 3 areas we pinpointed for the advancement towards TrustIQ 2.0: (1) Visual Design, (2) Data Storytelling, (3) Information Architecture
In the end-to-end (E2E) platform design, the we prioritized scalability and uniformity. We restructured the product roadmap to incorporate upcoming features like an ESG and supply chain-focused module. Additionally, we promoted and educated the team on embracing design thinking principles, ensuring the practice upholds a robust, well-crafted software foundation for future iterations.
